Bed and Breakfast in Pitlochry Scotland

Farragon is a detached 3 storey Victorian House in an elevated position in Pitlochry. The main town is a 5 minute walk away, but the house is in a quiet residential area. The house, built in granite dates back to 1880 and is set in a large south facing garden with wonderful views of the hills around Pitlochry. One of these hills is Farragon from which the house gets its name.

Accommodation consists of two rooms, one double and one either twin or double, both with en-suite shower rooms. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and quality furniture with open views over the beautiful countryside and hills. The house is well suited for parties of four as the two rooms occupy a complete floor and are the only rooms on that floor level. The rooms have TV/Video, Hairdryer, Clock Radio Alarm, Tea/Coffee making facilities, Mini Cooler, Complimentary Toiletries and Dressing Gowns and Comfortable Seating. We offer an extensive breakfast menu freshly cooked to order. Early breakfast is available on request.

Our guests have the use of the sitting room and garden as well as use of washing and ironing facilities. Storage for cycles is also available.

We are sorry, but we are unable to accept children under the age of ten and smoking is not allowed in the house, but smokers are welcome to do so in the garden. Pets cannot be accommodated.

There are many eating places in and around the area for all tastes and budgets and we are happy to recommend our favourites.

The county is centrally located and makes an ideal touring base for the Highlands with a wealth of local activities and attractions.

Farragon has been awarded a 4 star grading by the Scottish Tourist Board.
